In 1995, Ricky, with the help of his dad Ray, began building pieces of 19th century reproduction furniture and cabinetry for family and friends. It was originally considered a hobby in which Ricky's passion for period style was challenged, as he began the task of reproducing 19th century English pine furniture, mostly for personal use. Currently, the business has evolved to a public company. After many projects involving kitchens, baths, entertainment pieces and personal furniture, Ricky still works on practicing the the art and discipline of cabinet building and design.
Ricky graduated from the University of North Alabama majoring in biology. In addition to cabinet building, he is currently an Environmental Scientist with the State of Alabama. Ricky lives in the North Alabama Region with his wife Sherry and two children William and Sara.
